What is the MCC?
Founded in 2023, the Massachusetts Cannabis Coalition (MCC) is a cannabis trade association dedicated to serving the needs of every cannabis business license-holder and ancillary business. MCC prioritizes issues that affect all cannabis businesses and aspiring cannabis entrepreneurs.
Our Mission
To unite all cannabis licensees and ancillary businesses to promote the growth of a more sustainable and inclusive cannabis industry in Massachusetts.
Together, MCC works to create a better social and economic regulatory environment and provides a platform for all businesses to have a voice in how we use our collective resources to create better access, impact, and opportunities.
Our Team
Built from a diverse set of backgrounds and license types, our
Board of Directors guides MCC’s advocacy and member programming.
Principles of Membership
-
Advocacy
MCC members are at the forefront of driving policy and regulatory changes on the state and local levels. MCC’s industry professionals and partners ensure that the voice of the whole industry is heard on legislative issues facing all license-types.
-
Collective Impact
MCC members pledge to collectively create more access and opportunities in the cannabis industry for individuals and businesses from areas disproportionately harmed by the War on Drugs and all disadvantaged populations.
-
Development and Support
MCC promotes the growth and scale of member businesses by fostering working groups to solve current issues and providing members with preferred rates for professional services at affiliate organizations.
-
Medicinal Cannabis Protections
MCC seeks to protect and promote a rational and compassionate medical marijuana industry and will work to expand safe, affordable and accessible medical marijuana across Massachusetts.
